Fernando Carreon

As senior tax associate, I work with Brian on both individual and business tax returns. I pride myself on accuracy and consistency while providing timely feedback for our clients.

When I’m not providing expert tax advice, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, watching sports, and hitting the links. I highly recommend The Inn of the Mountain Gods course – the first course I ever played and one of the most beautiful.

Kelly Lyons

As the firm’s operations manager, my goal is to ensure the firm runs smoothly and efficiently. I partner with Emily to manage the internal systems and processes, which in turn provides a seamless experience for our clients.

Outside of work, I love reading, whitewater boating, cultivating plants (including a vegetable garden), and traveling. My favorite destination to date is the Lofoten islands in Norway – a place like no other in the world!

Joyce Mazur

As the accounting associate, I provide accurate and precise accounting for our business clients. I also handle the internal AR and AP for the firm.

I’m a lifelong Maryland resident and come from a family of nine siblings. I enjoy spending time with my husband of 30+ years and my granddaughter, biking, hiking, and going to the beach – my favorites being Ocean City and Assateague Island.

Melanie Kremen

As the tax associate for the firm, I am the initial and final touch point for our tax clients. Along with overseeing document organization, I partner with Olivia to answer any client questions or concerns that arise. I also manage the needs of the office space including equipment, supplies, and facilities.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, watching the Steelers, and listening to true crime podcasts. I also love attending concerts – The Eras Tour (Taylor Swift) and Art Rave: The Art Pop Ball (Lady Gaga) being my all-time favorites.
