“Most financial questions don’t have one right answer – just an answer that’s right for you.”

Financial Planning Services
At Woods Financial Services we believe that financial planning is not just about setting budgets and saving for retirement; it’s about crafting a dynamic roadmap that aligns with your goals, values, and aspirations.
Comprehensive
We believe that any solid financial decision always starts with a well-thought-out financial plan. This plan should carefully assess a client’s assets, liabilities, goals, objectives, and risk tolerances. While the document doesn’t need to be overly complicated, it should serve as the cornerstone of any client’s financial journey. Importantly, it should remain adaptable, recognizing that life is constantly evolving, and our plans must evolve with it.
Modular
Although we believe in the value of comprehensive planning, we recognize that sometimes simpler goals like college or retirement may prefer a more targeted focus on those particular variables and expectations. By setting clear expectations, we aim to guide clients in understanding the key considerations and optimal strategies for achieving their goals.
Advisory
After a client has outlined their financial landscape, the subsequent step is plan implementation. We advocate for diversification in nearly all scenarios, and hold the belief that markets are generally challenging to outperform over the long term. Our objective is to minimize investment costs while efficiently tracking market returns. Following plan execution, it’s imperative to consistently monitor and review investments to ensure alignment with the establishment plan.
Portfolio Review
We find that there is often a lack of clarity surrounding portfolio holdings. One common issue we encounter during portfolio reviews is clients inadvertently assuming either excessive or insufficient risk, leading to unrealistic return expectations. Our goal is to construct successful portfolios that align our clients’ risk tolerance with their investment holdings.
